Thematic seminars

The aim of the Thematic Seminars is to provide a forum for the dissemination and discussion of recent advances in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, as well as for showcasing and drawing attention to subjects trending in the scientific community represented by SEMTA. An ancillary aim of the Thematic Seminars is to foster national and international collaboration by providing a meeting point for researchers with similar interests. By keeping the Thematic Seminars to a small size, we aim to achieve the agility and flexibility that is often lacking in large symposia. In addition, we shall endeavor to keep turnaround times short, not exceeding six months, between submission of proposals, vetting of proposals and holding of the approved Thematic Seminars.
